On February 18, Gong Hongyu reported on China News Service that another significant AI model has been launched!

At noon on February 18 (Beijing time), Musk unveiled the latest chatbot, Grok 3, developed by his xAI company during a live broadcast on the X platform. Previously, Musk had praised Grok 3, describing it as "scarily smart," with capabilities surpassing all other currently available products. He emphasized that Grok 3 is "the smartest artificial intelligence on Earth."

"The goal of Grok is to understand the universe," Musk stated during the release of Grok 3. He explained that they are driven by a curiosity about the nature of the universe, which is why they are committed to creating an "AI that seeks truth above all else."

xAI highlighted that the development of Grok 3 was significantly accelerated by its Colossus supercomputer, which is powered by 100,000 NVIDIA H100 GPUs. During the release event, Musk also mentioned that Grok 3's computing power has reached ten times that of its predecessor.

Foreign media have analyzed that xAI has achieved better performance by modifying Grok 3's training process. The updated model now includes capabilities such as synthetic dataset generation, self-correction, and reinforcement learning.

According to Musk, Grok 3 will initially be made available to Premium+ paying subscribers on the X platform, before being rolled out to other users.
