On February 11, Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, announced on social media the visiting arrangements for Xiaomi's automobile factory in March. Visits will be available every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning. To meet the demand for family trips during weekends, four sessions per day are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays (except on non-production days).

Notably, Xiaomi's automobile factory will host a special women-only event on International Women's Day, March 8, with four sessions throughout the day and additional surprises on-site.

Those interested in participating can sign up through the "Xiaomi Auto APP - Community."

Lei Jun also attached a calendar of available visiting times for March.

Xiaomi's Super Factory, the production base for Xiaomi's automobiles, is located in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. It covers an area of 718,000 square meters, with a factory floor area of approximately 420,000 square meters. This includes a research and development testing base, six specialized workshops dedicated to new energy vehicles, a 2.5-kilometer test track, as well as a Xiaomi Auto store. The facility is an integrated smart manufacturing park that combines R&D, production, sales, and experience.

In January 2024, Xiaomi Inc. applied to register the trademark for "Xiaomi Auto Super Factory." On March 19, 2024, the Xiaomi Auto Super Factory was officially inaugurated. Subsequently, on March 28, Lei Jun highlighted the Xiaomi Auto Super Factory during a product launch event.

As early as January of this year, Lei Jun had already announced that the Xiaomi Auto factory would be open for public visits by appointment, with available time slots to be announced one month in advance.

From January to March, the number of visitation sessions at the Xiaomi Auto factory gradually increased. In January, there were only three visiting sessions on the 11th, 18th, and 25th, with a limit of 60 participants per session. By February, a total of 16 public visiting sessions were made available, accommodating up to 960 visitors.

According to the calendar released by Lei Jun, the Xiaomi Auto factory has arranged a total of 36 visits in March, including special sessions for women. This gesture was well-received by many netizens, with comments such as, "There's even a special session for women; Xiaomi is so considerate," and "With so many sessions available, I should be able to secure a spot this time!"
