Traditional Craft Revitalization Plan
In order to implement the requirements of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on "building a system for inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture, strengthening cultural heritage protection, and revitalizing traditional crafts" and the 13th Five Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People's Republic of China on "formulating and implementing a plan for revitalizing traditional Chinese crafts", and to promote the inheritance and revitalization of traditional Chinese crafts, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Finance jointly formulated the "Plan for Revitalizing Traditional Chinese Crafts", which was officially launched in March 2017.
Training Program for Inheritors of China's Intangible Cultural Heritage
Since the implementation of the "China Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Training Program" in 2015, the target task of training 100000 inheritors for the 13th Five Year Plan has been completed, and a relatively clear teaching system, work standards, and management methods have been formed, effectively mobilizing universities to participate in the protection of intangible cultural heritage (hereinafter referred to as "intangible cultural heritage"), and introducing important forces for intangible cultural heritage protection; Expanded the talent pool for intangible cultural heritage inheritance and promoted the social dissemination of the concept of intangible cultural heritage protection; Improved the level of traditional craft design and production, and improved the protection and inheritance of a number of projects; Expanded the means and methods of protecting and inheriting intangible cultural heritage, and promoted a number of exemplary and exploratory projects. At the same time, it has played a positive role in revitalizing traditional crafts, promoting the inheritance and development of folk art, and assisting in poverty alleviation, and its social influence continues to increase. The 'Training Program for the Inheritors of China's Intangible Cultural Heritage' has become a fundamental and strategic task in the field of intangible cultural heritage protection.
